Anson LV211 was used at East Sale for gunnery training, fitted with a Bristol Mk.VI turret as used on later variants of the Beaufort. Something truly different. Overall Yellow training scheme with Black serials. Standard 'Pacific' type national markings of the time (Dark Blue/White) in six positions plus fin flashes.
USAAF Anson DG914 after having an accident on 2.11.42.
Another of DG914 after it's accident. There was a surprising about of reverse lend lease to the USAAF forces here in Australia, numerous Wirraways, Tiger Moths and to a lesser extent Ansons being used. I suspect there may have been some Oxfords also.
The History card for Anson DG914 noting it's accident on 2.11.42.
Anson DG914 painted in Dark Green/ Dark Earth upper camouflage with RAAF Sky Blue lower surfaces scheme. The serial is in Black. Standard USAAF national markings of the time (Dark Blue/White) in six positions. As can be seen on the History Card the damage was repaired and the airframe went to GRS (General Reconnaisance School) of the RAAF for further service.
